Players on loan

Hey I was wondering if loaning players was benefital to the player? because I heard that the only thing loaning a player does is cut the weekly wages..

In real life it's very beneficial. But in FIFA I don't see an improvement in players when I loan them out.

Depends on your system. PS2/PC I have found that loaning players works pretty good although not as well as it probably should.

360/PS3 I have heard that what Celt says is true and unless you are trying to be realistic or need to clear some wages but don't want to sell the player I wouldn't loan at all.
