Online Pass Not Working

I just picked FIFA 11 up and I entered my online pass. It told me there was an error when entering the online pass so I entered it again. Then it told me that my code was already used. Now I can't play online unless I start the 7 day trial or buy another code. WTF is this BS? This is the second that this has happened to me with EA. Luckily, the first time, I had a friend from GS give me another code. But really, this shouldn't be happening. I shouldn't have to be forced to pay another 10 dollars because of some BS error. And I really doubt it's because I got it before the street date.

Has this happened to anyone? Is there a way to fix this?

I had the same problem this afternoon but somehow it its there. If you go to your downloads on your profile it should show that it is active. Mine is fine

Where would I find that? You're not referring to "Active Downloads" are you? Because it wouldn't show up there if it's already downloaded. I'm looking at my memory in my FIFA 11 file on my dashboard and all I see is the squad update and my personal settings.

Oh there we go. I just loaded up FIFA 11 again and it prompted me to download.

Online Pass is goofy if you have the game prior to street date. I had problems with mine for NHL11, but everything was OK a day or two prior to release.

speaking of online pass, are they gonna open up the creation centre website to everybody tonight? I tried accessing it and it asked for my pre order code? I downloaded my online pass already with no problems though.

that's the thing. I don't have a preorder code. I bought the game early from a mom and pop shop.

This happened to me too. The problem was, that I was entering the code on my original U.S. account which I always use, but now I am located in Australia so I had to switch to my local account for it to work, and wallah! Works on both accounts now. Same thing happened with Madden too, just a problem with the regions.

Might be a different problem for you, but at least that seemed to work for me.

I finally got the download to work for the online pass on my 360 but when I go to the creation center it asks for a code ? Doesn't the online pass give you access to the creation center, or is this another code entirely ?

The same thing happened to me last night saying the pass code had lready been used, then somehow it asked me to download something and then I was able to get on... weird.

I'm planning on getting one of the new Xbox's and I'm wondering how the online pass code thing will work with it. I assume it's attached to the xbox live account so when I transfer that it won't be a problem.

Yea,the online pass saves to your Gamertag.i deleted my online pass by accident one time and it just told me to redownload it.
