How do I turn off the scoreboard?

I feel stupid I have not been able to find it.
I would GREATLY appreciate someone giving me an answer because I dvr almost all of the EPL games and it takes me until Thursday to watch them. The scores I see at the bottom of my videogame are ruining real life games I haven't seen yet.
I never had a problem turning this off before in ANY sports games but I can't find it here. It's probably right in front of my nose and I don't even care if you are snarky with your answer. I probably deserve it.

When you're at the main menu there is an option under Xbox Live where you can select what scores/leagues you want the scoreboard to display. Just tune it to your liking.

Can someone confirm the exact path to this setting? Can't find it anywhere...maybe I'm blind.

Er, no - that was FIFA 10. FIFA 11 seems to have inexplicably removed this option altogether (unless it is hidden somewhere REALLY well)...
