No more walking animation?

Wonder why it's no longer in? Last year it was in, if you slightly moved on the left control stick your player would walk. I like to play team play and I try my best to conserve energy for my player and so I didn't have to jog everywhere or run I could walk my player and keep his energy level up.

I notice if you try to put a small amount of pressure like you would to get your player to walk in last years game, all he does is a little jockeying then goes into a jogging motion. The little jockeying motion is the same as if you were holding the left trigger down to jockey.

The cpu controlled players walk but it seems like something is interfering with the walking animation.
