Ended up going with Dortmund. Didn't use the Gunners this year but I immediately brought in a little Arsenal flavor, securing the loan deal of Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs.

Had an Arsenal CM going on World Class but I was getting destroyed. I moved down to Pro and started a Real dynasty. First move was getting Maicon for 35 million euros. I probably overpaid but since I have a transfer budget over 100 million, it doesn't matter. First game against Athletic, I beat them 3-0 with Higuain, Kaka, and Benzema scoring.

So loans are a more viable option this year? Hmm, that could make things a lot more interesting. And I'll also have a career with Dortmund and was thinking of adding some "Arsenal flavor" in the form of Eduardo (replace him on Croatian NT and he will be a FA). But with Barrios up front and Zidan, Lewandoski, Le Tallec (good potential) and some useful CAMs, it's not really necessary at the start.

If we can finally get decent players on loan, I may have to consider other options. Maybe I'll even start one with Forest, as I always hated during lower league MMs without being able to bring in players from higher leagues on loan.

Loans are definitely more viable. I noticed a lot of decent young players on loan from top clubs. Santon, Fabio, Wilshere, etc.

It's also nice that the game recognizes players who are currently on loan at the start of CM.

Just started a CM with Dortmund as well.

Immediately made some noise in the transfer market before the first friendly, as I'm looking to bring in more young talent to help not only get into Europe next season, but build for the future.

I sold Florian Kringe and Mohamed Zidan to fund the purchase of Timo Gebhart from Stuttgart. Only 21 years of age, but I think he'll find his way into the starting eleven immediately.

It was a pricey transfer, as they were asking $19 million, even though his market value was $15 million. Plus, they had him up for sale. I do love how they asked for more, though, instead of just taking what you offer. Hopefully for that big of an investment, he'll be an asset to the squad. I figure he's a young upcoming German player, and that is how I'd like to build the team. Heavy on the German.

The game came from gamefly today, just started a Blackpool manager career. Going into my first premier league game against Spurs, gotta say I like the interface that they carried over from the WC edition. Looks nice.

That is how Dortmund does things in real life. They usually try to base their team around young German talent. Usually fringe national team prospects, while building the rest of their team around veteran players from other Nations.

Being that with just about any league you're in. There is always a premium price that has to be payed if you want to buy proven domestic players.

Re: How's your CM/MM Going?

After playing some more, we're 14th in the league with 3 points (3 GP). Also we lost 3-1 to Port Vale in the league cup, but I couldn't care less about that. More concerned about our lack of offense and defense. I actually lost 6-0 at Old Trafford.

Oh, and it doesn't get any easier from here.

Next 4 games: vs. Manchester City; At Liverpool; vs. Everton; At Chelsea.

Ouch.
