    Fix for the Aggressive AI..?

So, a friend and I were playing some career mode last night, where I'm pretty sure all of us have experienced the over aggressive CPU AI. After struggling handily with the CPU, we both decided to switch Analog Sprint to on for really no reason other than the sake of change. Maybe just me, but my experience with this feature on was akin to FIFA 10 gameplay. The CPU seemed to be much less aggressive throughout the remainder of the game and two more games. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought I would mention it and see if others would be interested in testing this out and reporting back their results as well.

I've been using the analog sprint since the demo, so I'm not sure if this is true. Analog sprint is more realistic though because you shouldn't have to sprint full speed all the time.

This is brilliant. I switched analog sprint on and played a game (CHE v ARS) on World Class and the game was a different animal. I actually had that extra second on the ball that PES seems to give you to pick out passes, play the midfield and build up an attack rather than feeling I needed to sprint to the wings every time. Completely different game and MUCH more enjoyable, at least in the pressure regard. Good find!!

Great to hear this. I'm about to attempt this on my console as well, as I was on my friend's console the other day. Hopefully can confirm this too.

I'll give the analog sprint switch a try. I am adapting to the game, but anxiously awaiting a patch.

Help out a rookie -- where do I make this switch?

When you select a side press triangle. At the bottom of the list should be analog sprint. It's also in the wireless controller settings.

I didn't notice much difference at all using analogue sprint.

The CPU still consistantly pressures when your in possession, why don't EA make the CPU contain the attacker and apply pressure when needed instead of consistantly so the game just ends up frantic.

The over-pressure from the CPU really ruins this game.

And, so far, there is nothing that we (the players) can do about this.

Watch a real game from ANY league ... the defensive pressure is nothing like it is in FIFA11 ...
New to FIFA23 ... did not care for FIFA22 ... after having played FIFA19 for the previous three years!
