There should be a squad update after the transfer window. However, based on past years, I wouldn't expect it before mid-February.

See my previous post. The squad update is never out a day or two after the January. If anyone expects to see it that quickly, you'll likely be disappointed.

What exactly do the weekly squad updates do? Or however frequent they are...

This is extremely lame, so I just made some changes myself. I'm sure I missed some big moves, but I couldn't wait to start my new Chelsea Blues career. Wish they'd be a bit more proactive with these.

Changes are already made in Live season if you have it.

I believe this has already started to begin rollout. By this evening, globally everyone should have access.
