I think the catch up rate by the defenders is the real problem. It's a programming issue more than anything. So that's why I made my emphasis to keep Sprint Speed @ 1 for both User/CPU. Still allows defenders to catch up - but not unrealistically.

i hear some guys saying they cant finish, try using L2, instead of R2, L2 will allow you to keep the ball close, make tight moves and cross defenders... Please dont try to cross players with your CB and come on here and complain it doesnt work, its for ur skill players.

also, if you are playing 5-7 minute halves, you will NEVER be able to get a competitive match against from the CPU AND score goals consistently in matches, you will never lead your league in Goals For, and highly unlikely u will ever have top scorer n ur league

How do you score in 1v1 against the keeper? I find that the finesse shot doesn't work and neither does the flair? Frustrating that the keeper always gets a hand on the ball.

The most success I have in this is to run one way and shoot for the post of the other side, even then it's about 50-50 for me
