Subs on Bench Option

I was just curious as to what rule for the 'Subs on Bench' option was. FIFA '11 has it defaulted at 7. Is that the rule? Is it more? Is it less? Does it vary by league (Serie A, EPL, etc..)? Trying to get my settings as close to sim-like as possible. Thanks.

Completely depends on the league, although I believe most that are featured in FIFA 11 allow 7. Those that allow 5 are nPower League One and League Two in England. Possibly nPower Championship as well, but not sure.

Usually you only have 11 subs or so for a friendly match when everyone gets subbed over the course of the game, that is actually something I would like to see brought in for preseason matches in career mode.
