Is there a mode that I can play UEFA Champions League in FIFA 11?

You can create it with some success in tournament mode, and if you have the PC version you can download addons that make it possible to flawlessly create it. There is, I believe, a Champions League like tournament in manager mode.

But if you want the atmosphere, adboards, the anthem, the trophy, etc. then you need PES.

Correct. There is a CL+EL replica mode in Career Mode, but it's not branded or official. Plus, sometimes the qualification is a bit screwy.
