So my question for everyone is this....Me and my son (8 years old) play a career together. The problem we have is that our other controller the L1 button does not work thus not allowing him to change his guys. How can we get around this?

You can use the RS to change players, all you do is flick the stick in the direction of the player you want to choose and it should select him. It may not always be perfect but it does work. I think you can also edit your controller settings so you can have change player as a different button, go into controller settings and i think it should have an option somewhere for it.

Or set it to switch players automatically on his controller.
