Re: FIFA12 Career Mode Impressions/Discussion

Scouting is back is improved from years past.

You can hire different scouts based on skill and experience. You can not only pick the continent but the country as well. Right now I sent my scout to Ghana for 3 months looking for nothing specific, just "any" as listed in the game.

After your scout finds prospects, you're allowed to make three options; continuing scouting, sign player or reject player.

Drogba got injured. Right before healing up 100% I got message from him he is ready to go despite the risk if need be. Nice touch.

Transfers.

Here is what I did so far:

Lukaku loaned to Genoa.
McEachran loaned to Forest.

Here are some of the major transfers up until 8/18/2011 where I'm at now on the calendar.

Sneijder to Manchester City for €48,000,000
Modric to Manchester United for €43,000,000
Benzema to Inter for €35,500,000
Vidic to Barcelona for €34,000,000
Lopez to Liverpool for €24,000,000
Nani to Tottenham for €21,000,000
Song to Bolton for €15,000,000
Toure to AC Milan for €14,500,000

I haven't listed anyone for sale yet but I have gotten several offers. 3 for Drogba, 2 for Lampard, 2 for Ivanovic and some others.

I'm impressed with all the positive reviews so far. Can't wait till mine finishes downloading. Been downloading for over 3 hrs now! Servers must be swamped.

I love that you can scout specific countries. Can't wait for my scout to return from Spain. Looking for a few young midfield gems.

Re: FIFA12 Career Mode Impressions/Discussion

Transfer deadline day is really fun. They give you 10 hours and it gets hectic with the signings and the rumors.

However, once again EA denies us the opportunity to give us a menu of all transfer signings. Why? They give us a little tab with all signings on the right side but the menu transitions to the next one every 2 seconds and the team icons are pretty small. Why is this is difficult to do?

Anyway, here are some of the bigger deals from the beginning of July to the end of the transfer window in August.

Sneijder to Manchester City for €48,000,000
Modric to Manchester United for €43,000,000
Benzema to Inter for €35,500,000
Vidic to Barcelona for €34,000,000
Lopez to Liverpool for €24,000,000
Nani to Tottenham for €21,000,000
Song to Bolton for €15,000,000
Lescott to Arsenal for €15,000,000
Toure to AC Milan for €14,500,000
Defoe to Wolves for 11,500,000
Milner to OM for €11,500,000
Korlov to Arsenal for €8,500,000

Started a Burnley manager mode. Of course I got a transfer RB Hoefkens and after the first game he gets injured for 5 months. Ugh.

Do you really care where I sent this from?

This was going to be my #1 question. Too bad. Is that just on Deadline Day, or throughout the window you can't see all transfers anywhere?

I can't say that I like the look of those transfers.
