Sergio Aguero is ridiculous in this game

I am Playing with Man City online and I am scoring goals and making assists with him constantly. Even the few games I lose I still have 15+ shots

He is rated 87 in the game, however I outrun guys to score, dribble around, drop shots from outside the box, fight off defenders for airballs, steal balls from sloppy defenders, nail headers. drop finesse shots into the corner of the goal from difficult angles, lob balls over to Tevez or Djzeko, etc. etc.

He is unstoppable lol.

Is he having a good season in real life?

Man City is a fun team to play with online for those that refuse to play with United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid.

Have you watched him play at all the past few years? That's how he actually plays, lol.

No I didn't watch him play last year. I know hes good but it seems like he plays better than his 87ovr rating. I am not amazing at the game or anything, but I have been ridiculous using him.

I guess people tend to pick a favorite player in the game. Last year for me it was Arjen Robben and Holland. This year might be Man City and Aguero.

Understandable, you have to go out of your way to see Atletico Madrid if you live in the States.

Also, you do bring up a good point about the misleading nature of OVR. I don't have the game yet, but I imagine some of his individual ratings are quite high, but because of one or two lower attributes that are taken into effect for OVR, the average is brought down.

87 on FIFA is indicative of a very good player anyway. It's not like other EA games like Madden where an 87 would be a slightly above average player. 87 is world class.

Messi is "only" a 91 for comparison.

I was actually just thinking that. I took a year off from FIFA and realized that not many guys were over 90 when I think back.
