Career Mode, Loss of Youth Academy Players and disappearing FA's

One thing I still wonder is if the cpu teams use the youth academy, and if they do, do they lose their youth players every couple of years?

Confused. Aren't you supposed to take the loan status off BEFORE the transfer window ends?

Seems like it doesn't matter, on further review. It looks like, as you as you take him off the loan list and wait a bit, it clears up the contract issue.

Ditto, and then once you re-sign them, it shouldn't come up again.

Thanks for all the assistance, everybody. The workaround right now is definitely working for my buddies and I on all of our Career Modes.

Maybe you should update the first post with the workaround? Would make it easier to find for people.

So sign the player to an extension before putting him up for loan and there shouldn't be any problems? Just wanted to make sure because theres been a few methods in this thread
