Manual Shooting This Year?

Ok, that's what I've been trying. So far I've played two games, scored a goal when I was straight in the front of the inside post (and that's where the shot went), hit the post once, had a few directly at the goalkeeper, and about 6 or 7 that went wide completely.

I guess I'm having a little trouble aiming somewhere other than the exact same direction my player is facing. Hopefully I can get better
