'12 or wait for '13?

Haven't bought a fifa game in a few years. Starting to get the itch to play. But at 50$ for Fifa '12 used, I don't know if I should just wait for '13. I exclusively play online. Still into Nhl and just got Tiger. Not sure what to do.

Somebody here is bound to sell you their copy for less. I play the PC version, definitely worth the 30 bucks when I bought it. Great game, I love it, but it has issues -- almost no fouls whatsoever for example. Online probably doesn't matter with that though.

Wait for '13 and hope it's better. The '12 game, like almost every FIFA game has issues. Impossible to slide tackle the CPU and the CPU players all have super agility. Plus, yes, no fouls.

Even with the issues, the game is still tremendous and deserves the accolades it has gotten. Its definitely worth the 40$ you can get it for an Gamestop.

Re: '12 or wait for '13?

you can slide tackle the cpu ;D

just wait for them to make a mistake or time the slide tackle as they are receiving a lob pass. if you meant it is difficult to slide tackle the cpu, then yes i agree. however i do manage to do it a handful of times every game.

lack of fouls is the most disturbing thing.

I may just do this. I trade all my games in anyway. So if I can get it for 40 and trade it in the 3 months for 15$ at worst it will be worth it.

I'm mostly worried about the amount of ppl playing online, as I play online 99.9% of the time.

FIFA by far has largest number of online players out of any sports games. Finding games at any level of play is quite easy.

I would wait. This game was a miscarriage.
