FIFA 11 or 12?

Want to buy a FIFA game for PS3. 11 is $20 and 12 is $60. Is 12 $40 better than 11? What are the main differences, bad and good.

I'm enjoying 12, but with 13 coming out in September (most likely), I would not pay $60 for it right now.

Origin (EA's online store) is selling 12 for $30 this weekend, but thats PC/360 only

Yup. I've had the ps3 version since day one but I just bought the PC version (for the awesome mods) last week from Amazon downloads for only $20.

Sliders in FIFA 12 make all the difference. First time in years I've enjoyed playing this series as it's now possible to tweak the gameplay, and adjust and balance the various aspects. I'll never go back to a sliderless FIFA game now.

While the lack of fouls and cards are a weakness of FIFA 12, it is better than FIFA 11 in every other way. I agree the sliders were a great addition to allow you to customize the gameplay. The biggest changes (in defense, as well as the new collision engine) are improvements over FIFA 11. Menus and presentation look similar. Alan Smith replaced Andy Gray. That gave the audio a refresh.

$60 is too high for a game that will be replaced in four or five months. Shop around.

Yea I saw that Origin offer. Thinking I might buy the 360 version and just exchange it at Walmart for the PS3 version. Anyone know if I can do that, or does EA put stickers on their games you order online, specifically the barcode, that is different than the in store barcodes/stickers?
