It's not a big surprise, seeing how it's EA. That said, it's really sad. They can have a development team make changes to console versions every year, but the teams for the handhelds can't do anything? It's odd. Sales have a chance of declining because of this and they will just blame it on the system, not their ignorance.

New features for the PC, PS3 and 360 versions were announced some time ago:

The PC version should be identical to the current gen console version, should it not? That's how it was for Fifa 13.

No, I read the PC version will not have the ignite engine ... I was going to buy the pc version but not anymore.

Ignite is for next-gen consoles only, yes. The question had to do with whether the PC version will have the same new features the PS3 and 360 versions will have, and the answer is yes.

You are correct sir, the ignite engine is for Next gen consoles only. Feature-wise, PC FIFA 14 is identical to the current gen systems.
