Much smoother on PC version. Have PS3 and PC copy. Waiting for mods/edits/sliders to really get into the PC version but I messed around in Career Mode after hearing about the lag on PS3 version and seeing for myself and it wasn't as bad.

Ok after spending some time with it I didn't think it was nearly as bad as Madden. Nowhere near "unplayable". Playing on a brand new super slim PS3 that came with the GTA bundle.

Ps3 super slim running the menus much better than the early release version. Still needs a patch though.

I can confirm that this issue does not affect the PC version, at least on my machine.

Career Mode is pretty bad for me on PS3. I wouldn't say unplayable, but it isn't great. Anyone found anything that helps speed it up?
