Is the PC version of FIFA better than the console version? I know that the PC has mods to its advantage, but is the gameplay any different?

gameplay is the same, graphics are better (if your computer can handle them).

Out of the box no, the gameplay is the same; however some modders edit the gameplay which make it quite better.

Graphics for the PC version (compared to current gen) will be better. Non-compressed textures, antialiasing, etc. As was said, provided your PC can handle it.

Got it for PC. Love it. Definitely the best rendition of the game (beside the upcoming PS4/Xbox One editions).

Me, too. Going going to check Moddingway when I get home to see what mods are out. Have noticed that the textures aren't quite as good as last year. But I do like the fact that colors seemed to have been toned down, the game doesn't look quite as cartoony now.

Of the PC game? Not at Best Buy, doubtful at EB but possible (call them.)

It's easiest just to download it through Origin.

I had the Logitech one years ago and thought it worked quite well.

ps3 controller.

Quick impression from one game I played last night. Started a test career with Club America while I wait on the moddingway mods. World class difficulty, slow speed and adjusted my sliders. I was pleasantly surprised how well it played. Better than the demo. There was no overly aggressive defense. I was even out possessed by a good margin. The pace was nice and methodical. Gonna see if different teams play differently.

I had the Logitech one years ago and thought it worked quite well.

Wired 360 controller is the best (and easiest to boot) way to go on the PC. Plug and play.

Is there anyone here who plays with keyboard coz I find it a little hard to play with controller only regarding direction pad. If anyone playing with keyboard can u pls post control list specifically protect the ball and other key moves which can help in playing FIFA 14 since I will be able to buy the game only by November end due to my exams in November.

Well, I downloaded the proper drivers to use my PS3 controller on the PC and installed the demo. There's just no looking back.

The crisp, responsive menus, incredibly fast load times, the detail of everything with my GFX card, just...wow.

Goodbye PS3. I'll bother with FIFA on a console when FIFA '15 comes out on the PS4.

Just wait until you get the Moddingway patch. You'll never want to go back to console. It looks really generic by comparison!
