FIFA 14 Title Update Available Now, Details Included - Investigating Freeze Issues

EA Sports has released a FIFA 14 title update this morning, which fixes a few issues in Skill Games, Creation Centre and some of the other issues listed below.

• The effectiveness of headers from corner kicks and crosses.
• The effectiveness of finesse shots.
• The accuracy of lofted through-balls.

The team is also aware that some users are experiencing freeze issues in the game. They are investigating the problem and will send out an update when they can.

Is this the first time in years FIFA released a patch that effected gameplay? They usually only address bugs and glitches.

Why oh why couldn't they adjust fouls. In some way. It must be possible.

I can agree that I rarely get fouled during my career mode.

Oh I get fouled. The game just ignores it.

If your a hardcore franchise mode player, then you know FIFA is known for freezing past the 2nd year of your career.


You'd think they have addressed this once and for all.

Is this the first time in years FIFA released a patch that effected gameplay? They usually only address bugs and glitches.

I was a little surprised myself as well, but yesterday's patch DID NOT, address that. Yesterday's patch was for some skill game and creation center issues.
The next patch, scheduled for day 15(I'm guessing 8 Oct) will have the gameplay fixes as well as other issues.

I guess one difference with the fouls is before the cpu would mug you and not get fouls called and you would just bump them and get whistled.


In 14 you can mug them right back. So in a sad way...it's balanced.

Also this was patched, and I would have posted it in my thread about Skill Games in FUT using the RB as your player but that thread was closed.

They fixed it with this patch.

Career mode also suffered the RB as your skill player issue. I would assume that is fixed too.
