Just dances around the ball never getting a foot in while the cpu shows him the ball several times.
well yeah you have to do the tackle yourself what's the problem with this?

If that is the case then why does the game put the tackle in for you when holding contain on pro, semi-pro and am?

Basically there is no reason to level up in this game by learning on lower levels and applying it to the next skill level because the gameplay drastically changes as you go up on skill levels.

Yeats mentioned psychic dribbling and I posted a video showing how the CPU plays with itself on WC if you don't take over.

Here is a curious one with the throw in logic.

Has to do with your line slider settings, that's all.

Not sure what the point of posting that was. How is that related to anything being discussed here? Also, why is the video in slo-mo; that was unnecessary and painful to sit thru.

Ok then it's on EA.

Because this is happening during the Weekly Highlight matches which as far as I can tell you cannot change the sliders for these matches.

Wait yeats...just making sure...I am the white team. When you get deep throw ins with default gameplay your players start at midfield and you have to wait for them to run back up to the point of the throw in.

This seems like an error.

I see this when I test line sliders to extreme levels... length and height 80 or 90 etc. But it only happens when those sliders are set one way. I play with with height 0 and length 40 and that never happens with those line settings. If it's happening with default 50 sliders, then there's something glitched in the line sliders this year, you're correct.

Hmmm. It's like the threads went back in time...

9:35pm Sunday 10/13 and not seeing any of the past two days posts.

Ha-ha! Well let's see... you said this, then someone said that, then I said okay whatever, then you said...

One of the last things we were discussing were the boosts in career mode. I was thinking about Matt's comment and how he mentioned he doesn't see them. Two things; From what I'm reading, they are present in career mode as usual, but not as noticeable in exhibition mode. The other thing is Matt uses a heavily-edited db which I told him helps eliminate the CPU boost effects by reducing several player ratings the CPU requires to run riot: speed, accel, agility and strength. In fact one of the main reasons I suggest lowering those ratings is to help counteract the boost effects on legendary, so as to be able to play on that difficulty level in order to see more fouls in the game.
