Selling (and Loaning) Players

I just went through the January transfer window for my two separate career modes - and I had very little success with getting any "bites" for the players that I had listed for sale or for loan ...

I have some deadweight (sell) and some not-ready-for-primetime youth (loan) players on my roster ... and I would have liked to have been rid of them. I would probably have even accepted less-than-market value for some of my transfer listed guys. I need to clear some roster space for promising youth academy projects.

Are there any tricks to this? How can I get the CPU teams to show interest in what I am offering? I would like for something other than paying the release fee to "cut" a guy from my team ...

I've had some trouble with this on Fifa 14 too, especially when playing as a bigger club whose players are on pretty large salaries. I don't know if there are any tricks, other than to save, move forward a few days, and if you don't receive any offers, reload from the previous save. Can be really time consuming, but could help you get rid of some surplus.

I've also taken to including excess players in deals when I'm trying to buy a new player. Even if the club says they aren't interested in the player you offer, keep including that player as you increase your cash offer. Eventually you'll hit the right value and they'll accept the offer, which will get the deadwood off your team. Hope that helps.

I have this issue as well. Not any bites on my for loan players. I have them all listed for season loan. Anyone have better luck listing for short loan?

I have read that if you play them and get their form up WHILE they are up for sale/loan it seems to bring more attention/notice from the AI teams. Again something I read but have not personally tested.
