    [PS3] 14/15 Squad Update

Hey fellas, after a few games on the demo for FIFA 15 on PS3, it's safe to say I'm not entirely impressed. And possibly may just stick with FIFA 14 on PS3 for awhile. With that said, having updated rosters for the top leagues would be pretty great. However, that is no small task. Navigating the menus, looking at transfer in and out lists, etc.

So, it would ideally be more than a one person job. I figure someone could do multiple teams, then hand the file off, and so on and so forth.

With all that said, is this something that anyone would be interested in participating in?

How are you not impressed with the game? I haven't gotten a chance to play the demo yet. And I will be getting 15 on the 360 and I have been reading the comments on the next gen thread and it seems that the game is great. And from what I have read the two games will be more similar on the 2 systems than games like NBA 2K and NHL.

I'm not ruling out going with 15 yet, but so far, it doesn't feel like as big of an improvement. In some parts, it feels worse. Visually I think it's an upgrade, but the defending seems worse than last year, and the game seems more open than ever before, to the point of sliders not helping yet.

OK that was the same thing I read in the current gen thread. How is fouling in the game? Am I going to get more than 2 fouls called in my favor, on either Semi-Pro or Pro, in a month?

I think it's slightly increased, but not enough to make me for sure drop $60.

I definitely have no doubt that 15 for PC, PS4, and XB1 is vastly improved. But from what I'm seeing, as expected, it's not as improved on last-gen. And for right now I'm okay with that, as 14 plays a pretty decent game, and updating squads isn't too painful.

I don't have plans to get either new system, and I don't know when I'll be getting a gaming PC, so for now I might just stick with FIFA 14. Matt10's sliders + custom tactics make it wonderful to play.

I'll most likely finish the EPL tonight, and hopefully another league. I'll most likely throw the file up for anyone who wants it.

I'm just doing transfers, as there is no way to move a player and have it be a loan. For the most part, I think it's okay, as if there are any notable loans people want to do, they can do them on their own (Falcao to United).

Otherwise, I don't think many people will be bothered by missing loans, as half of the real life loans that exist may not even have the players already in FIFA 14.

And just to clarify, I'm only doing transfers, and no player creations or player editing. So, transfers will be included, as well as if a player's loan expired and they've returned to their parent club.

I will help out. Warning, I travel for work quite a bit and sometimes I don't get to play for a week+. Send me the file after you get done with the leagues you want to finish and I will do some others.

In terms of Falcao, probably just transfer him because he has a buyout clause and I can't imagine Man U not taking up that option.

Fantastic! Really, a league here or there will help out immensely, and one league can be completed in one evening. So, when I get some more done, I can send you the file and have you just do a league here and there.

Im in!!! I always had to do the whole thing myself so I've been lagging it to do it this year. Make that file available and which leagues need to be completed.

Awesome! I'm going to try and post the file tomorrow night, and if someone could knock out a league and repost by Sunday that would be awesome.

File tomorrow will have EPL & La Liga complete.

I'll just be uploading online and, so you can copy to your PS3 with a USB device.

Yep, we'll just be doing uploading and then transferring via USB.

Also, if you want to knock out a few teams this afternoon, that would be great!

                              Here's the best site I've found: http://www.transfermarkt.com/ud-leva...saison_id/2014

That link takes you directly to Levante, the team I left off with. I start with departures first, as you can do that all from one screen. After that, arrivals. Remember, don't do any loans for now, just full transfers.

The tricky aspect, but the part that makes this more detailed and great, is a player recalled from loan and then sold to another club. So, if you see a player as departed, but he's not on that team, click his name to see what team he was loaned to, as that is who he'll be on in FIFA 14. An example of this:

Player is sold from Team A to Team B. You go to Team A's page, but he's not on there. You look that he was last loaned to Team C before being recalled to Team A. So, to complete the move, you'll transfer him from Team C to Team A. Woo!

We'll most likely miss a few recalled loans and what not, and that's fine. One other thing, if a player is permanently moving to the club they're on loan at, I've just been going to that player, and moving them from the club they're at on loan, to that same club. Which hopefully makes their move permanent in the game.

Okay, enough rambling, here's the file! https://www.dropbox.com/s/jc983zp8wkhva9m/PS3.zip?dl=0

EPL is complete. La Liga is complete except Levante, Malaga, and Cordoba. Also, only worry about the teams that are currently in the leagues we're doing that were promoted, not who the game has in the leagues.

BigRed, it's up to you, but you can finish La Liga if you'd like. After that, next leagues to complete are Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A.

Lastly, if you can upload the file today after you're done, I'll grab it again and do a few teams tonight after work. Thank you!
