Thanks Matt for this update.
Are you, specifically, going back to Slow Pace and Best Feel Version ? You were on Default before, right ?

It's a welcome surprise 30 for CPU Sprint Speed. I'm so curious if this also can help reducing (or even killing) those improper centre back jockey/shuffle issue. I'm going to test again slow just to check this!

By the way, I tested some days ago default pace with 5/5 Sprint Speed, after the latest Title Update. Unfortunately, this issue is still pretty much alive and I was able to easily score because of it, so I immediately went back to 15/15, which is completely safe. Got used to it already.

I miss being able to play with slower pace. At least in FIFA 22, slow speed even with 50+ Sprint Speed was way slower than normal speed combined with 20 or 30.

Sadly, after all updates, there was no safe value for those slower defenders when setting slow pace. Don't know if it's the same "impossible to fix experience" in FIFA 23.

Could be possible that shot speed at 53 in combination with lowering GK is making free kick at little more flexible ? I score 3 in 5 games today, all three of them between 24 and 28 yards away which for me is great. Anyone else experienced the same ?

Re: FIFA 23 OS Community Sliders

Appreciate all the hard work that goes into these. Just played my first match with slow and not sure how to feel about the sprint speed difference compared to CPU. There were a decent amount of times where my defenders would not sprint when I took control of them. I’ll definitely test out some more, I’m hoping it was something flukey with my controller or that particular game but it cost me a goal twice and both times the defenders had a step on the guy with the ball. Not sure if anyone else had experienced that before but I hadn’t when using version 7. I might give the default speed a go, I just haven’t used it in years.

Offensively it felt great!

Guys, don't know if this became a thing only after the most recent Title Update, since I'm using default for a long time, but it's insanely noticeable a difference in pass speed when using slow pace! Now I understand why so many people reported the game being faster. I even checked all my settings twice and did a cold reboot on my Xbox Series X to be sure it wasn't a "temporary bug".

In slow pace, the ball is traveling like a missile compared to most passes using the same amount of power in normal speed. And must be noticed that, in this setting, I'm using 15/15 Sprint Speed to avoid CPU jockey/shuffle. Still, it's way more realistic in terms of pace!

I never thought I would say this, but I'm truly feeling default and 15/15 slower than slow pace with 20/30! Take a look:

- Slow Pace + Sprint Speed 20/30 and Acceleration 48/48

- Default Pace + Sprint Speed 15/15 and Acceleration 48/48

In a few words, when using slow pace the ball behavior is like if I were always using driven passes, holding RB/R1. CPU passes are also a bit faster. I really don't remember this happening months ago, before permanently switching to default pace.

This is definitely an issue with FIFA 23 itself. Maybe because of the new three different types of acceleration feature. I also conceded some goals in the past because of this "lack of reaction" immediately after we take control of the player. They simply refuse to properly start to run with full speed. It also happens sometimes using default pace. If I'm not wrong, this is the situation where we must keep pumping sprint button to force them to react faster, as Matt and others said in the past. It helps. Still, it's so annoying!
