Another great match with Beta 10, where we manage to get the upper hand only after the opponents are down to 10. Narrow victory and great gameplay…

Slightly off topic, but wouldn't it be amazing if you didn't have sim as the default career mode option. Having to keep adding in all the sliders to every new career mode is getting VERY frustrating.

yes it's true. I noticed that by increasing to 36/37 SS, the players get slightly more tired and it doesn't change the pace or the animations...

OS Sliders Testing V5 Beta 10 - xbox, leg, fuse, 10 minutes, g98 set 2 sliders:
Game playing well. Build up play feels realistic, with some teams high pressing, some playing lower line / compact low block, necessitating strategic changes on my part. Breaking a defense is challenging, both from the wings and from central play. Midfield play results in lots of 50/50 balls (cpu wins >50), Y button lead passes into the box are typically covered by the cbs. Break / counter play still feels like the most likely scoring opportunity in both directions (which is realistic). Have seen a spike in cpu reds with tackle aggression of 62 (mainz had 2 in the first 12 mins in a game), may adjust as it feels high (though small sample set).

Most ongoing issues are game embedded. There are some silly tactical decisions - sesko taking free kicks vs being a target player; when down 1 goal the cpu seems to play park the bus in the last 3-5 mins for some reason.

Thanks team. Was fun to have this update over the holiday weekend.

Just adjust ref strictness instead. You can find that in the main menu under rules.

Ultimate / Custom 50’s / Using Matt sliders / 5 Min Halves.

I’m having a few issues atm. The main issue is that the opposition make stupid errors in their build up to attack, which leads to them creating very little chances on goal. I had to reduce shot error for the CPU as their shots were quite poor. I have also increased sprint speed for CPU to 40, but I am still finding it a little too easy. I want the CPU to be quick with the ball, but not too stupid where it becomes ridiculous as if competitor mode was on. Any ideas on the best custom 50’s to make the games more competitive. I don’t mind the slow feel for the game, especially when I have the ball, but the CPU ends up having a low amount of shots per game. I’ve made a custom club and my team isn’t great, I just want to struggle some games to meet the realism. Any ideas?

If game is too easy for you then you should play online. Don't expect that sliders will solve your problems if you are able to win almost every game on world class or legendary.
