FIFA 17 CPU vs CPU Sliders

The sliders listed below were developed so that CPU pass completion percentages would be more realistic. After testing 20 games, the average pass percentage was 81%. The highest was 88% and lowest was 68%.

Note: The following sliders were tested using Krebstar's formations and tactics. Since Krebstar adjusts the positioning for each team's formation, I use default settings for H/L/W.

Half Length: 20 minutes
Difficulty Level: World Class
Game Speed: Normal

Sprint Speed: 50
Acceleration: 50
Shot Error: 51
Pass Error: 55
Shot Speed: 54
Pass Speed: 99
Injury Frequency: 50
Injury Severity: 1
Goalkeeper Ability: 50
Marking: 50
Run Frequency: 50
Height: 50
Length: 50
Width: 50
Fullback Positioning: 50
First Touch: 1

Why 99 pass speed?

Re: FIFA 17 CPU vs CPU Sliders

Increasing pass speed is the only thing I can find that will decrease passing accuracy. As a matter of fact, it does the job far better than adjusting the pass error slider.

For example, you can move pass error up say 75, but the CPU will still complete a high number of completions. If anything, that slider just limits what types of passes the CPU will attempt.

Also, speed and error both play a role in accuracy. Error changes the angle, but if pass speed is around 50 or lower, it doesn't matter. The ball will always roll to a spot in close vicinity of the pass recipient. So, error is only a part of the equation.

Pass speed increased makes pass error matter, because if the angle of the pass is off, the ball will not magically roll to a stop in vicinity of the player receiving the pass.

See for yourself and you'll observe what I'm talking about.

I'm trying these out now..

Currently in the 59', Bournemouth leads Arsenal 2-1. It was B-mouth up 1-0 at half.. Arsenal equalized immediately out of half. Bournemouth made it 2-1 as I typed this.

I'll try it, but doesn't the unrealistic pass speed bother you?

Re: FIFA 17 CPU vs CPU Sliders

The one interesting thing with this slider set.... and maybe it's a fluke one game thing idk... but I've seen a dramatic (realistic) increase in the amounts by if fouls! Arsenal has 1 yellow... Bournemouth just picked up a 4th yellow, which happened to be a second yellow for the Bournemouth player and he was sent off! The first time I've ever seen a CPU player sent off with 2 yellows... definitely will keep an eye on this for the next game I play

I thought the same exact thing- but honestly it has been far better than I expected. Currently in the game I'm doing Bournemouth (playing 10v11) leads Arsenal 3-1... I've seen an increase in fouls. The counter attack seems to be more effective on this set.
