I have a question for the more experienced players out there. How big of a role does form play in how your players attack and move off the ball?
I played about 12 games of back and forth games, I usually only averaged about 8-12 shots per game. My team moved well, but I just wasn't solid around the box, got dispossessed on the final ball most of the time. After a few 1-1/0-0 draws and 1-0 losses, my team seems lately to not move as well off the ball. More lethargic, not making as many runs, or just making runs the complete opposite of the flow of play where I have no way of getting them the ball. I am now on a 7 game drought where I haven't scored a goal, and even though I'm keeping even on possession or even topping possession percentage, the amount of that possession in the final 3rd is getting smaller and smaller. The last 2 games I've had single digits in possession percentage in the final third, even though I've had the slight advantage of possession.
Not sure if this is a result of me being frustrated, or if it's because of the confidence of my players making runs/moving off the ball as a result of my scoreless streak?
Sorry to go off topic, dm will be fine for response to keep clutter off the thread. Any insight would be great and thanks in advance.

I usually find when I'm on a scoreless streak I start looking for the
perfect goal, that extra pass, the perfect moment to shoot, you know... much like the 4th place specialists... Arsenal.
When I get stuck In this rut I make a point of shooting when I usually wouldn't, I put more crosses into the box from all angles and I pressure the CPU's backline hunting for a quick turnover
Don't be afraid to reset (pass backwards).. I was terrible for doing this
forward forward forward... attack over
If players are not moving, use L1 (ps4) to trigger a run or look at your custom tactics: I personally like my
passing in the 50-60 range &
Free form
and if all else fails.... press the sprint button > chase 'em > dive, cheat and throw a tantrum
