I too am seeing plenty of goals. My scorelines so far are:

ARS 3 - 1 LIV
ARS 4 - 0 LEI
ARS 2 - 0 WAT
ARS 3 - 0 SOU
ARS 2 - 3 BASEL (lol???)

I am also dominating in possession. 55%+ in every game. This is how I want to play, but not sure if it's a problem as far as being 'too easy' to have such high possession...?

Well, that´s not what my problem is right now, that would be the next hurdle . I don´t even get chances, CPU-Gk could go to the kiosk during the match cause I don´t challenge him at all. But I assume it´s an individual problem since you say you get plenty of chances and furthermore no one else seems to be complaining about lack of chances...

My experience is somewhere in the middle. I almost never see 0-0s but I also rarely see natural high scorelines. If it's high, it's either the CPU is really playing unbelievably well and mine are rubbish (don't mind this anymore) or I will score many goals towards the end by counterattacking.

Playing shorter halves solves the fist problem (but I enjoy the 15min ones more) but the second problem has proven difficult. I have reduced CPU shot error to 45 and increased mine to 55 but I don't let that many shots in (at least not from good chances).

I think this is a natural result of how the game plays in general. We don't ping pong towards the box quickly and the CPU doesn't press in the same way as real life. It's also a byproduct of the lack of bad passes under pressure. In a real game, a very high percentages of passes under high pressure is far from perfect up to completely rubbish.

I generally avoid looking at possession in FIFA, I have had higher possession in games that I lost hands down and the CPU dominated every inch of the pitch - and also the opposite.

Haven't played much over the holiday weekend but have put marking to 60/60 just to try and give me some more time and space. I've also just changed to a computer monitor instead of a tv and have to say it makes a difference. Even in game mode on tv's there's still that little lag but the monitor I have is 1ms response time and it does make a difference.

Back on point. I was suffering from not creating chances too but have just played a game as Chelsea v Liverpool in a test CM. I won 3-1 with 56% possession to their 44% but they had 26 shots with 14 on target compared to my 12 shots 8 on target. Even though I had more possession I still felt pressured by the CPU and frequently felt that the CPU was supposed to win. Countless times in games I've scored and the CPU literally scores within minutes with their next attack or the CPU scores last minute bs goals.

I'm interested to see what Matt will come up with because I still feel the fb's are either out of position or just get overrun down the lines.

I personally can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, lots of things to take into consideration though
