Rather than moving toward you, like in that video, what's bothering me even more is seeing, for example, a CB literally evacuate his position, not going toward the attacker but elsewhere. The CB often will track toward another attacker, who typically is already covered by the other CB or an FB, but midway will suddenly reverse course, but by that point it's too late, the space in front of the goal is wide open, and it's an easy scoring opportunity.

I guess it's essentially the same issue, just a variation of the video you posted.

Yeah saw that earlier, totally threw me off, ran to the thread to see if the feedback on the front page had any merit.

Not gonna lie, I did pre-order after playing the demo. Got 25% off from a gaming website I go thru so I jumped at it. Hoping I didn't make a mistake. I don't have EA access so I can't play it anyway to find out currently. Wish I could so that I could verify and give some feedback to the community. Guess I shall wait patiently lol!

Sounds like a mix of DAA and defensive ADD. We'll have to take a look. Do you know who the CB is looking at when he does this?

You will find me, when streaming, always going to replay and zooming in on player's eyes. I want to see exactly where they are looking when these types of things happen.

Should get early access tomorrow, and stream tomorrow night. Will let everyone know in here as well.

Based on video, I did notice that the pass physics/speed/etc looks a bit too clean on the surface...what do you guys think?

Of course, did you expect anything else ?. Generally, I'm amazed at how much user in here expects from EA, you know them, or should at least be in relation to when you have become a member of this forum.

It's the same for me. I've seen the CB literally move backwards inside the box to allow a through pass to be successful. Even if he were just to stay in position when the pass is made he would most likely disrupt the play. Instead he's making sure the striker has a scoring opportunity right at goal. It's happening on both sides CPU and my AI teammates. Unacceptable in my opinion.

Just based on the demo here, but you guys are nailing it on the head with defenders. They have no urgency to the ball in and around the box. The CB isn't taking that step forward, but rather to the back or sides it seems...

I dunno, I put in about 2 hours on the demo and generally still enjoyed it, but needs cleaning up.

The CPU attack is just light years ahead of 17 IMO. I've never seen so many long balls from the CPU. Do think they want to pass in too many shooting situations, but that's long since been a FIFA issue.

Let me know if anyone is streaming the early access though, would love to lend a hand and set of eyes tonight.
