I gotta say I enjoy these new sliders, even though I got a few issues with them aswell, but...seeing goals like these (video), I thought Navas would have control, and therefor I didn't rush back towards my own goal, well, I learn by my mistakes, never trust the goalkeeper

But I like that the goalkeepers isn't perfect anymore. I like to see them do mistakes, it don't happen so often, but no one is perfect in real life, and when it happens, I just gotta smile.

I play on 10 minute halfes, worldclass, slow. With all the OP-sliders except for pass speed, I have that on 38/38.

I won't / can't play these high line settings with FIFA 18, not this version of the patch at least.

I am getting absolute. carved. to. pieces.

By teams like Reading with players like Sone Aluko.

I think I mentioned this yesterday with the Beta version that included 70+ width, but any dramatic changes to line settings seem to profoundly affect the Human player but the CPU still maintains shape, discipline, tackling, marking. Meanwhile, my fullbacks get torched on wings.

Just changed to 50/50/50 and immediately my team has shape in attack and defense. Gonna stick with this until I see some compelling reasons to change.

Perusing the reddit FIFA forum, it looks like the FIFA community is massively split on this recent patch - not just whether it's been good/bad, but whether it even altered gameplay.

I honestly can't see a great difference. Minor things for sure, like keepers and shooting. But overall gameplay seems the same to me.

What is it that you guys think is different?

Im just testing the sliders, and i played with Tottenham against burnley and itís look quit good. Played 1-1.

When i try Chelsea against Liverpool to see how a good team will attack me, and I see many diffrent situations and variation. Only things is cpu doesnít try shoot outside of the box.

10 mins length game and itís on legendary
I would like to post link, but itís says Iím not allowed to do that yet

What are we solving for?

Solving for user defenders to meet attackers. As always.

Currently, driven pass straight to attacker, turn and face.

If lines aren't the answer, then we need to find another route.

Hello everybody,

regarding FIFA 18, I have a question:ý
How come that, no matter what sliders set I use (I use the latest pinned on top of this thread), I always see my defenders going back 20 meters and stand there waiting for the other team?

it is TOTALLY UNREALISTIC and ugly to see.

Am I the only one?
