We haven't tried it with controlling the keepers. But I think it could work.

Although I have to say, that the latest updates messed with our sliders a lot. So we're not happy with the current ones and still testing.

hello, you then solved with the sliders configuration for cpu vs. cpu?
I play the Italian Serie a with the default settings and only the injury rate at 95, legend, 6 minutes per time

We're not completely statisfied, but we decided on the following slider for our season:

Legendary
Speed: Normal
8 minutes half time length

Sprint Speed - 15
Acceleration - 41
Shot Error - 71
Pass Error - 45
Shot Speed - 53
Pass Speed - 44
Injury Frequency - 67
Injury Severity - 85
GK Ability - 33
Marking - 64
Run Frequency - 91
Height- 83
Length- 17
Width- 21
FB Positioning - 95
FT Control - 57

After many testing of CPU vs CPU, Professionnal difficulty is the only way to go to see random nice tries, crosses, shots from anywhere, slides, ect. WC and Legendary is very scripted.

Now the only problem is the poor defense.

I found an interesting avenue playing with the teams' sheet before the game. Adjusting the instructions of all defense players to "Aggressive Interceptions" create a new dynamic, but still has it's weakness. In the opposite, putting them all on "Conservative Interceptions" also create an interesting dynamic. You may want to explore team sheets combined with sliders to find the perfect gameplay.

What I learned over the years with EA games is sometime you need to go counter-intuitive and exagerate stuff to create a new realistic gameplay.

Now I'm seeing success improving de CPU defensive abilities by lowering "Position Marking" all the way down to 15. It's like if they now go more on the ball carrier rather than worrying too much on the other player which was the problem of Professionnal difficulty.

Still exploring....

Hello Hoozpekt wanted to ask which set slider settings do you play exactly? Can you please post your set would be great, I also play on a professional setting

I based myself on Kliqer but since he plays Legendary some tweaks had to be made to compensate for weaker / slower AI at Pro. However I did increase Pass error.

Game speed : Normal
Half time: 20 minutes

Sprint Speed - 40
Acceleration - 44
Shot Error - 61
Pass Error - 55
Shot Speed - 53
Pass Speed - 44
Injury Frequency - 67
Injury Severity - 85
GK Ability - 43
Marking - 90
Run Frequency - 91
Height- 60
Length- 17
Width- 21
FB Positioning - 95
FT Control - 57

Note that I also use these settings at World class too. It's a good balance to have some crosses and slides but ideally finding how to make stronger defense at Pro is the main under progress goal (Which I think will come from Team Sheet)

Hoozpekt First of all thanks for the set I'll try it out tomorrow at a professional setting I'll play on the new xbox series x

are the midfielders of the cpu finally following back? and does the cpu shoot more from a distance than was previously the case ..?
