So I’m a bit confused by the nature of the live tuning update. Obviously you need to be online to get it but does it ‘stick’ if you go back offline afterwards or do you need to always be online for it to take effect?

Once a patch is downloaded that is then the new version of the game wether online or off. Some people if they like the way a game plays “out of the box” they keep their system offline when they play that game to keep the original game version but you would need to turn off automatic updates for the sytem.

Thanks Ben. So it sounds like the live tuning update is really just a small patch.

As you mentioned I have automatic updates turned off and I always have system backups in place in case I want to recover from a patch I don’t like.
