I think this is one of the better games EA is putting out on next-gen. I say it's worth it.

I passed on the CG version in light of the unfinished PES so I'm going to pick this when NG releases.

Depends on what you're looking for. I'm a bit in-between on the game itself. It plays a lot like current-gen FIFA and reminds me a lot of the maxed-out PC version but there's a great deal of small enhancements that put it over the top. The presentation, for instance, is much improved as are the "living worlds" elements.

I'm leaning more towards "worth buying", especially if you're unfamiliar with playing the PC version at a high resolution. The enhancements and additions, while certainly great, are there alongside a familiar-feeling engine. It's still a solid game but hardly anything groundbreaking (especially for veterans of the series and those who play exclusively on PC).

If you're going to upgrade to NG and already have FIFA on CG then you might as well upgrade if you can get it for $10.

The only thing that would stop me if I was in that situation would be if I was really deep into a CM.

IMO, if you're getting PS4 or XB1 there's no reason not to get it.

If you already have the CG version, it's only $10 for the upgrade (depending on where you got it). Even if you don't have the CG version, the NG version is still the same price as the CG version.

Even if the gameplay is more or less the same, the NG version will have more player animations and better graphics and presentation. At the very least you're getting minor improvements on what's already a good game for the same price. To me it's a no-brainer.

I got it as my free game in the Target buy 2 get 1 free deal. Best Buy matched the deal. Can't beat getting it free. I was really torn on buying it so this worked out perfectly.
