No Practice Mode?

Nope. The mode is unlocked on pc by Fidel. He didn't just add it. This means the mode was coded and existed on pc and it was unlocked by hex editing the fifa15 executable. I guess EA could unlock the mode on the consoles but I highly doubt there is hidden/coded on PS4/XB1.

I think it is on xbox one and PS4.

Where would it go? I honestly think EA just took out the command to get to the squad practice list in the game while bug testing or something.

There is so much 14 "coding/assets" in 15 I would be amazed if they actually removed the practice mode. Removing it would require a decision, "should we take this out?" And I know I should know better but I still can't see a room full of FIFA devs all agreeing it was sensible to remove practice.

Sure would be nice if EA let us know. I see these same complaints over at the EA forums.
