FIFA 16 Gameplay — User vs AI

Wasn't sure where to put this so I figured I'd just make a new thread. Found a new gameplay video of a user against the AI, which I know many of us have been interested in.

I'm pretty sure it's on Professional or lower, as the user is able to guide through the defense far easier than you would be to on higher difficulties.

Still, there are some positives. Dortmund is patient with the ball, defenders will pass laterally, and there was even a back pass to the keeper! Second, there was a long pass across the field from the LB to the RB.

Fingers crossed that we can once again control this via tactics.

Haven't seen many fouls, sadly. Check it out!

Nice. That looked very promising. I can't wait to get my hands on this now. Granted that guy was playing on a lower level, but I saw things that got me very pumped for this game. I didn't see AI team mates running away from lose balls. I saw AI players cutting out passing lanes instead of letting the ball just go by them. The AI was making risky passes. AI teammates helping out in defense and not backing away to mark someone else when the player got close. Lots of good things in that video. And those back passes to the keeper, I've never seen that before in a FIFA game I don't think. Also doing some build up in the mid was nice to see. Come on Tuesday!

I hope to hell they didn't nerf fouls. Thought it was perfect last year. Maybe I'm am getting too old for gaming as I have no interest in FUT and the mindless ping-ping passing type of gameplay experience.

Agreed. No doubt this was on Pro or even lower, so I would expect to see less fouls, but from all I have seen shown, I doubt we will see any increase compared to 15 and that is sad. Still a lot of positives from the cpu at such a low level with the back passing and attempted build up. Game speed was much better compared to the earlier pvp vids as well. I hope slow is even slower and tactics work this year and we could be in business, but not holding my breath.

Man, there's a pass at 7:57 that is just gorgeous. Long pass from the RB all the way up front to the striker. Hot damn.

I am very worried about fouls, though. Last year was the first time there was actual improvement, and if they killed them, I'd be bummed.

I also hope tactics work like they should this year, but I liked what I saw from that video.

Don't worry about the fouls. Once you go below WC, the CPU defenders lose their aggressiveness, always have. I've seen and heard enough from those who've played the game against the CPU that fouls are at worst the same and at best mildly more prevalent.
