Icon5 Passing - Manual or Semi

In my quest to improve my crappy skills at FIFA I decided to get rid of assisted passing. It was a bit too easy so I think I settled on Semi. Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations when debating between full manual and semi?

Keep in mind that my skills are not that good and I lose games on professional with semi passing.

Been playing FIFA since '07 and could never get used to manual. Try semi first.

There's a definite learning curve to full manual, but once you get over the hump it becomes pure bliss. Passing and shooting is way more organic, it feels like the way the game was meant to be played.

Thanks to both of you for the reply. Semi is pretty painful so I will stick with that for now. Maybe I will be ready for full manual by FIFA 18.

From my experience it is painful and could last a while but you WILL get better and better if you keep at it. It will be worth it. Good luck!

Go with full manual settings if you want the most rewarding experience. If you want to play full on Barca tika taka, set passing to assisted.

Re: Passing - Manual or Semi

I think Semi was AWFUL this year. I usually play Semi until the game gets too easy and then switch to manual.

I have no idea why, but it just felt painfully bad this game. I had things locking on to wrong players, really bad passes, etc.

I switched over to manual and didn't have any of those problems (so it wasn't my aim). I'm actually finding manual easier...
