Why such differing opinions on Fifa16?

I ordered the game yesterday since my friends have it, but I've never seen a sports game where I have no idea what to expect. The verdict on this board seems to be it's a big improvement or at least better than 15. However on Amazon, 15 got 4.4 stars while 16 only got 2.9. And pretty much everyone is complaining that this is a step back. Every sports game people have different opinions but I've never seen it to this level before. Does anyone know why?

It's not a step back, its more difficult even on professional. Although really, the difference isn't terribly noticeable
