How Does The FIFA 16 Fatigue Engine Work?

So obviously players get tired during a given match but do they accrue fatigue during a season, i.e. if I rest a player for a match will he tire at a slower rate during the next one?

In my manager's career I've got three matches coming up in the next nine calendar days and wanted to know if I should use my bench like I have to in MLB The Show.

Thanks.

Re: How Does The FIFA 16 Fatigue Engine Work?

I just got FIFA 16 so I cant comment on how it works in 16. However if it works anything like FIFA 15 then you will want to use your bench. I used this rule in FIFA 15. If there was less than 3 days between games I used the bench.

So the starting 11 for game 1 wouldn't be the same for game 2 if it was two days apart. I found that if my players fatigue levels got really low my chance of an injury went up big time.

I normally carry enough players to field two teams.

Re: How Does The FIFA 16 Fatigue Engine Work?

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong but the rate of fatigue does not change throughout the season. Players tire and then recuperate with appropriate amount of rest. They always return to 100% energy with enough rest and the reduction in energy is dependent on how much they play the game (this amount stays the same throughout the season).

That being said, the likelihood of injury increases with fatigue. So, if you play a tired player, you're more likely to see him get injured.
