Okay, can somebody PLEASE tell me what on earth this is supposed to represent?

It's just a silly list that can't be sorted, organized, clicked on, nothing. It's just a flat list that's utterly incoherent and useless. Why is it STILL in the game after all these years?

I assume it's just to show which players are or are not in form numerically.

That is how I've always understood it. Its just there to show you who is gaining and losing form on a per match basis.

I would venture to guess that "under the hood", this hierarchy influences which players the CPU determines to be "valuable" in terms of transfers/values/whatever else. The combination of form and OVR rating is more fluid than overall alone and it's likely easier to make each CPU team properly value players based upon relative OVR within their own squad.


I've always thought for the User it's mostly just a reference point but it MAY give you insight into which players CPU teams make offers for.
