Head on over to Football Manager for your cup desires fam.... I had to hold the L on this year cause of that.

Yes, the South American clubs (& Mexico) play in the fake copa libertadores (Copa LatAM) in the game.

FIFA needs more CONCACAF leagues or just have Mexico and MLS in a fake cup cause those are usually the remaining leagues deep in the Con CL tournament anyway.
