Played my first game and was happy to see the cpu getting whistled for fouls. I was also pleased with how the cpu was playing aggressive and we're making tackles. Really liking the new set piece setup. It will take a while to get used to corner kicks. I saved 2 penalties with Karius.

Liverpool 4-2 Middlesbrough

13 Shots 14
9 Shots on Target 11
48 Possession 52
16 Tackles 17
8 Fouls 7
9 Corners

Premier League rosters are pretty spot on. Just a couple of youngsters of note missing. Kane Wilson at West Brom who has been on the bench a couple games so far and James Weir at Hull.

I don't understand why handballs are off in career and I don't have the option in the settings menu to change it in the career menus but I do in the main menu (So they work for exhibition)

I feel the same way. I think I have played every FIFA made and most of the PES's.

There are so many things in FIFA 17 that are really bad IMO but do I really need to write a bunch of words?

People are going to get this because it's a new FIFA. I got it because it's a new fifa. I did do the 16 trade in and had a best buy gift certificate. Got it for about half price and that seems reasonable for Fifa 17.

I will just go quick and broad.
The physics are odd.

The ball can be real herky jerky as it gets near goal. It hits off players and the goal and just comes to a stop too quick.

I see players running into each other way too often.

My number 1 wtf happened here is
The player switching is abyssmal, IMO the worst it has ever been in a FIFA game. I have not thought about player switching once in PES and rarely did I think about it in FIFA 16. But I have conceded 7 goals and every single one is based off the game switching me on the fly to another defender on the other side of the attacker right in the middle of tracking the ball near goal and the rapid unexpected switch pulls me away from the ball allowing an easy shot.

I am trying to get used to that but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it switches and much to my chagrin the AI seems to be aware of this switching issue and pings the ball back and forth until it happens.

I am going to find something good about the game and add it to this post.

Just heard them reference Xhaka will have to try to maintain focus today while playing on his birthday.

Nice touch EA.

With the new physicality Xhaka is fantastic to play with in Fifa 17. He bosses the middle but has great ball retention as well, and monster long shots. He was easily my favourite player during the beta.
