How is FIFA 17 gameplay after all the patches?

For real though, the FIFA team only supported FUT after launch this year. Any gameplay additions/fixes they claimed to have made I haven't seen actually happen. They said they fixed backpasses being picked up by goalies in the last update and I had 4 picked up by the CPU right after I downloaded the update. I think the game is great but there's been ZERO post launch support for anything not named FUT.

I have had the game since launch but I've noticed lately there is a controller lag for me.
