I'm not into FUT really. I enjoyed it (a bit) in 16, didn't touch it much in 17.

Stuff gets so outrageously expensive it makes it kinda not fun for someone that is only semi vested in it.

I also pre-ordered from Amazon the standard PS4 version. Can someone please let me know what the experience is with release day delivery? I thought ordering with Prime I would get it on release day, but apparently I'll get it on Tuesday and seems some people that ordered madden (seems to be the norm with EA games now?) said the same thing.

It would suck not to get it for the weekend....

Amazon with EA sports titles and 2k Sports has changed this year and it seems you can't get the games anymore with the discount plus same day delivery. It sucks, honestly.

I recommend you look into Best Buy Gamers Program. A lot of posters have been recommending this and I am taking the plunge shortly to get these games discounted and same day delivery.

Yes and it will release/be playable this Friday. I did this with NBA 2k18 and Madden
