fifa 17 vs fifa 18

Is it worth buying fifa 18 or go with a cheap copy of '17. I play gm mode and offline, nothing else.

I'd like updated transfers, but i can do that slowly for the major ones. I'm coming from fifa 16 on xbox 360.

or is pes now better?

Kind of hard to say at this point considering we're comparing a full release to a demo.

As somebody who detested FIFA 17 as a demo and regretfully bought the full version, I am very excited about the FIFA 18 demo. Spacing, physics, player weight and movement on the ball, animations, it's all so much better than FIFA 17.

Considering that the demo is hyperspastic speed, the action on the pitch still maintains an enjoyable shape and yeah, has me feeling like this could be a lot closer to 16 than 15 or 17.

Maybe odd years just suck for FIFA!

13 - terrifyingly bad
14 - amazing (best FIFA ever?)
15 - putrid (worst FIFA ever?)
16 - pretty damn good (2nd best ever?)
17 - worst FIFA in 10 years for me
18 - FINGERS CROSSED, IT SEEMS PRETTY GOOD!

14 was the last FIFA i could handle, should've kept my PS4 copy. 15 was a crapfest and 17 isn't that much better (I skipped 16).

I have had PES 2018 for 5 days. Playing against humans is great, playing against the CPU is terrible. The AI is so bad. No fouls, not much defensive pressure, GK's are OP and AI plays too many lofted through balls. Seems they have changed so much in the game this year it has affected the AI. Not confident any patches will fix this to a point where it's really good, I am taking mine back. Maybe next year.
