Why does the Bundeliga tournament start with week 2? It completely skips the first week of matches.

Anyone else notice this?

What team are you using? Are you not having to compete in the first few rounds?

I normally do all Bundesliga matches in Tournament Mode but am waiting on the Bundesliga broadcast to be patched in. If that is the case (missing matchday 1) hopefully they correct it in the next update.

It seems to have a couple of glitches. I've had games Sunday, Wed, Saturday of the same week.
Also, when the commentators talk about my next game, it is actually the current game.

Minor gripes.

That's not a glitch. It happens in real life. In Germany we call that "Englische Woche", which equals to 3 games in one week.

Three Bundesliga matches in one week though?

I understand BL, then Champions League during the week, then BL again, but the tournament mode doesn't have any CL games.

Edit: you are right. Bayern's Englische Woche was in September. Saturday, Tuesday, Friday!

It's not in the first update. Hoping someone from OS can notify. I know these things get lost in the forums. And they don't really address Tournament mode much so it'll easily go unnoticed.

3 matches in a week isn't a glitch... if you have a mid-week match, which every league does, you might have a game saturday, wednesday, sunday. Or any variation of those days.

Also, starting in week 2 isn't a glitch. Its essentially a bye week, not all clubs play in the first round.

But there are scheduled games, which says something isn't right. No other tournament skips the first set of games. That being the case, some teams will end the season not having played a full 34 games. Not to mention, during games, the announcers promo the game you're playing in as "next week's" game.

So basically in a nutshell you are saying all week 1 games are skipped over?
The first game of the tournament/season should be Bayern VS Leverkussen as that's the opening match of the season.

I thought you meant in cup competition. My bad, thats why I was saying not all teams have to play the first round. I have no idea.

I can confirm this glitch.

I just finished a tournament season with Bayern. I only ended up playing 33 games instead of 34.
