Any reason to buy this for Single/Offline players?

I read in the impressions thread that FUT Single player seasons was taken out. That's the only mode I played in FUT since it was available.

For Career mode / Tournaments - any big upgrades from 19 that you would say spend $60 on 20?

Seems like year after year offline single players are getting more modes taken away (from all games).

So any incentive to buy this for single player?

The AI is completely broken anyway if you play offline. It's a strange fictional team sport with no defending. And CM is a buggy mess with Brighton winning the EPL. Even Fifa 11 plays a better single player game.

20 is an exclusive e-sports edition, they forgot about everything else.

There are some nice additions in terms of ball physics and some career mode enhancements, but the game is really wonky right now. I'll just keep playing VOLTA (which is fun and has single player) until they sort out the AI defence and sim engines, though.

There's pretty much no reason to play FUT anymore, at least from a single-player perspective. There's no other FUT mode that offers any sense of progression like Single Player Seasons did, it's all one-offs against TOTW and eSports fantasy squads.

Since the presentation is so good, I'll probably play a player career or season in the Bundesliga, La Liga and EPL. And by "season" I mean a simple single season tournament, since manager career seems to be rapidly approaching the uncanny valley and there isn't anything FM doesn't do better anyway.

As things stand, single player is a dumpster fire. Hard to recommend.

It seems like all of these companies abandon single offline players. 2k kinda cares, but they kinda don't. EA flat out doesn't give a damn and say you either buy it or you don't. Well I don't.

I think this year forget any sport game for single player. The improvement for gm or be a player is so slow it's not worth 60. Be the way wait until black Friday u will get fifa easy for 25 bucks
