Question for semi/manual players since update

My passes are usually crisp. I played pro clubs tonight for the first time since the update and I had to go to assisted because I could not make an X pass on PS4 on semi which is crazy because semi basically feels like assisted to me now.

Anyone else experiencing any funky stuff

I cross and do through balls on manual but the x passing just felt crazy. I can pass better than that on manual. And I haven’t adjust anything with my ratings. I guess it could’ve just been rust but I really don’t think so. I got that 4 star weak foot too
