For pro clubs in the beta it’s almost a redundant mode as drop in doesn’t really work as you spend so long waiting to get into a game just to play against the cpu and one other person as the fill feature bugs out to the point where it won’t put you into a game

You have to join a public club and just hope that the people in your club are online to play.

I agree, such a puzzling design decision.
