You can't in game I don't believe but I think I saw a post from an editor that said he used some type of editor to realign the conferences. I could have this mixed up with NCAA Football though but I thought I read a post like this but not 100% sure.

Amazing work on these rosters! Just wondering, is it possible to edit classification via Hex Editing?

After you put the flash drive back in the PS3, go to the utility screen with the flash drive and click on the roster file and copy it to the PS3

Just use a PS3 program called Bruteforce from PC to assign the roster file over to your PS3 profile. Once you have done that then just copy the newly assigned roster file onto your USB drive & then copy the file to your PS3.
